August Highlights

In the cinema Ticket prices have never been cheaper! This summer take advantage of our reduced ticket prices and group offers for a family-friendly film and book your tickets now.

From Friday 2nd August we are showing outstanding hand-drawn Kensuke's Kingdom and the breathtaking epic About Dry Grasses from internationally acclaimed master filmmaker Nuri Bilge Ceylan in addion to the heartwarming action-comedy Thelma.

Join us on Wednesday 14th August at 6.00 pm for the monthly short film open mic night, Sound & Vision. Tickets are only £7 for two hours of short films of all genres and networking drinks at the lounge afterwards.


 On Thursday 15th August at 6.30 pm, we will host a unique screening in collaboration with Chiswick Book Festival. The multi-Oscar-winning 1981 film Chariots of Fire tells the true story of two British athletes who competed in the 1924 Olympics in Paris. The film will be followed by a live Q&A with the festival director Torin Douglas and sports journalist Jonathan Legard. They will discuss the film and its legacy in what promises to be a fascinating conversation.

Wednesday 21st August belongs to our monthly Classic Matinee. We will be screening the musical comedy High Society (1956) at 2.00 pm.


In the lounge Our monthly Board Games Night is on Wednesday 7th August from 6.00 pm. Entry is free and all are welcome.

On Friday 16th August at 7.00 pm we present a brand-new Comedy Night - introducing 10 comedians, great vibes and guaranteed good laughs. Free entry.

Finally, we wrap up August with our popular free Open Mic Night on Thursday 29th. Sign up from 7.30 pm, performances start at 8.00 pm on a first-come, first-served basis.
